I had the privilege of being invited as the Chief Guest and Award Presenter at the prestigious Education Higher Education Conclave Maharashtra, organized by EGN India by Study’n’Learn.

At first, I had to read the invitation twice once to ensure they truly meant me as the Chief Guest, and again to confirm there wasn’t an exam waiting at the entrance! The moment became even more exciting when I was asked to deliver an imprompt speech before presenting the awards.

An Absolute Honor

It was a proud moment to present awards to Vice Chancellors, Principals, senior professors, academic leaders, and change makers who are shaping the future of education. Recognizing their contributions reminded me how impactful visionary educators are in building a stronger and more adaptive academic ecosystem.

The Theme: Interdisciplinary Teaching

The conclave’s theme “Interdisciplinary Teaching: Breaking Down Silos for Holistic Learning” is extremely relevant today. Education is rapidly shifting from traditional paths to a dynamic, skills-based journey, and interdisciplinary learning is at the heart of preparing students for the future.

This conclave brought together senior policymakers, eminent educationists, and academic stakeholders under one roof, creating a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing.

A Memorable Surprise

Perhaps the most surprising aspect of this event was learning that the organizers used ChatGPT to recommend the Chief Guest and it suggested my name! That was a truly humbling moment and added a unique twist to this memorable experience.
