Eat that Frog!!!

𝑬𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 π‘π’“π’π’ˆ!!!!! Not literally... but that is one of my favourite books which changed my mindset.

A simple question that changed the way I approach work - "𝘞𝘩𝘒𝘡'𝘴 𝘡𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘢𝘳 𝘭π˜ͺ𝘴𝘡 𝘡𝘰π˜₯𝘒𝘺? 🐸

Brian Tracy's 𝑬𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 π‘π’“π’π’ˆ! isn't really about productivity. It's about making better decisions.

Over the years, leading large transformation programs, mentoring professionals, and investing in startups has taught me that the biggest challenge isn't a lack of time. It's avoiding the most important task because it's difficult, uncertain, or uncomfortable, and you want to just avoid it as much as possible.

π–π‘πžππ‘πžπ« 𝐒𝐭'𝐬:
πŸ”Ή Having a tough conversation with a stakeholder
πŸ”Ή Making a strategic decision with incomplete information
πŸ”Ή Giving honest feedback to a team member
πŸ”Ή Starting that initiative you've been postponing

These are the "frogs" that create the biggest impact when tackled first.
I've found that successful leaders don't necessarily work longer hours. They simply develop the discipline to address high-impact work before getting distracted by low-value activity.

One habit I've adopted is asking myself every morning:
"If I accomplish just one thing today, what should it be?" The answer is usually that BIG, DIRTY 🐸 frog.

Sometimes the oldest lessons remain the most relevant, even in an era of AI and constant notifications.

What's the biggest frog you're planning to eat this week?
