I was having dinner in a restaurant in Singapore when my boss, Balaji, called me telling that I had been awarded the KONARK for this year. I was literally in awe on hearing the overwhelming news. Immediately I checked my mails and found that yes, there was message from Govind Singhal with subject line that “Congratulations! You are now a Konark!” It further read as below.
Congratulations! We are pleased to announce that you have been raised to the status of KONARK in the Organization. This has been done past your nomination and further evaluation by the central Jury. This by no means is a simple thing!
Being a Konark is a great status and privilege in the organisation and also means greater responsibility on your shoulder. One of the main reasons for you being selected as a Konark is you being a role model for the rest of your colleagues and your attitude and ability to be a brand ambassador for Intellect. We are sure you will prove to be a worthy Konark and will ensure that you keep the Intellect brand flying high in the years to come.
Finally I was invited to the Konark investiture Ceremony on 14th December along with my better half. It is a rare privilege and a proud moment of being inducted as a member of Konark Family in Intellect! ‘Konark’ is a special program in the Intellect Design Arena Ltd, designed with a view to spot, reward and nurture role models, brand ambassadors and change agents in the organisation. It is a great honor for me to receive one of the highest accolades at Intellect, thanks to my mentor and boss, Balaji P and Intellect!
